Halloween On The Farm Near Gaylord, Michigan
Bring the costumes out to Wilderness Valley Farm for games, candy and the last Saturday of the fall season. It lands on Halloween day itself, so the farm is the daytime plan and trick-or-treating is still on the table that night.

The Season Finale
Last Saturday Of The Fall Season
October 31 is the final day before the farm closes for fall. Last call for the pumpkin patch, the last bag of apples out of the orchard, the last hay wagon along the tree line. If you have been meaning to get out here all season, this is the Saturday it has to happen.

Costumes, Games & Candy
Halloween day at the farm is exactly what it sounds like. Come dressed up, play the games, collect the candy, and get one last full day of the season in before the gates close for fall.
Come In Costume
Kids and grown-ups both. The farm in late October is a better backdrop for costume photos than any porch, and the animals do not mind a superhero at the fence.
Games & Candy
Halloween games and candy for the kids, running through the day alongside everything the farm already has going.
The Whole Farm, One Last Time
Reindeer, yaks, Longhorns, the hay wagon, the kart track and the pumpkin patch, all open for the final Saturday of the season.
Included With Every Admission

Questions
Halloween Questions
Should the kids wear costumes?
Yes, that is the whole point. Grown-ups are welcome to dress up too. Late October in Northern Michigan can be cold, so layer underneath the costume rather than over it.
Does the farm event conflict with trick-or-treating?
No. The farm runs 10am to 5pm, so it is the daytime half of Halloween. You will be home in time for evening trick-or-treating in town.
Can we still get a pumpkin on October 31?
Yes, it is the last day of the u-pick patch. One free pumpkin per guest from the field, while they last. If a carving pumpkin matters to your evening plans, come earlier in the day for the best selection.
Is this the last day of the season?
For fall, yes. October 31 is the final fall Saturday before the farm closes, then it reopens for three Christmas Saturdays in December with Santa and the reindeer.
Where is the farm, and how far is it from Petoskey or Traverse City?
